Within minutes the bexio payroll interface is activated. Payroll runs can be initiated directly in TimeStatement and pushed to bexio at the click of a button. Your data stays in sync at all times which eliminates manual work and prevents costly mistakes.

By the way: TimeStatement also provides a bexio interface for invoicing. This allows you to convert tracked hours into invoices and transfer them to the bexio accounting module automatically.

Activate the bexio payroll interface

Connect your bexio payroll with the TimeStatement time tracking workflow in three quick steps:

1. Open the bexio Marketplace and sign in.
2. Search for TimeStatement inside the Marketplace.
3. Click “Add app” and follow the short wizard to activate the bexio integration.

Connecting a brand-new TimeStatement account

If you do not have a TimeStatement account yet, a short onboarding flow starts and automatically pre-fills company details from your bexio account. You simply verify the imported data, define a password, and sign in.

The synchronization between bexio and TimeStatement only takes a few seconds. After the activation you can test TimeStatement for free for 14 days with up to 100 users.

Connecting an existing TimeStatement account

If you already use TimeStatement, make sure that you have administrator rights in both TimeStatement and bexio. The system checks automatically whether a new account is required. If the administrator email addresses match, the connection is completed instantly.

Use the bexio payroll interface

The interface lets you pass the hours recorded in TimeStatement to the bexio payroll accounting with a single click.

Permissions for the bexio interface

Extend the bexio permissions once if necessary so payroll-related hours can be synchronized. Go to Overview > Working Time and click “Update bexio access now”.

Prerequisites for the interface

Ensure that the required users exist in bexio payroll with the same email address they use in TimeStatement. The interface relies on this match to map employees across both systems.

Transferring payroll data

Inside Overview > Working Time you can synchronize payroll data per employee via the “Send to bexio” button. Alternatively, use “Sync with bexio” to update all users at once.
